As a learning organization, we encourage open, transparent, equal and win-win multi-directional communication by building various communication platforms for this purpose.

Our staff get real-time updates on our corporate developments through a host of online and offline media, such as our internal bi-monthly newsletter Connections, the intranet and our WeShare portal on WeChat. In 2021, we launched our first-ever employee engagement survey to better understand the needs and aspirations of our people.

In addition, we have set up a General Manager mailbox to encourage employees to provide reasonable suggestions and evaluate service quality. Breakfast and lunch meetings are held regularly to allow our staff to express their ideas and concerns freely and in a timely manner. A dedicated WeChat account through which messages are conveyed in a fun and interactive way, is also in place to facilitate instant exchanges with staff. To date, the account has attracted more than 500 users among the staff at Olympia 66.


We are committed to promoting both the physical and mental well-being of our employees, realizing the importance for them to maintain a healthy body and a healthy mind. To this end, we provide a variety of benefits and activities designed to achieve work-life balance and personal growth.

We hold birthday parties, food festivals and other well-received activities on a monthly basis. We also organize regular health seminars and sports events, including soccer, badminton, rope skipping and other matches. These activities can help build health and wellness, while enhancing team spirit and a sense of belonging among our staff.

Not only caring for our people, we are equally concerned about their families. We host activities on Family Day to show our love and tender care for our staff’s family members, who are proud of being part of the extended Hang Lung family. 2020 marked the 60th anniversary of Hang Lung Group, our employees received an additional day of paid annual leave, named Founder’s Day Leave, starting in 2020 to recognize their hard work and contributions. We also formalized flexible work arrangements in 2020. Beginning in March 2020, office employees can apply to start and end work up to an hour earlier or later than the standard working hours or can apply to work from home upon obtaining approval from the direct supervisor.
